I am a professional photographer with a background in nature, landscape, environmental portraiture, photojournalism, fashion, and editorial-style wedding photography. My style has been described as "frank", "ethereal", and "cinematic."
The focus of my work over the last three decades has been photographing the wolves of Wolf Haven International (Tenino, WA/Bridger, MT). It has been a great honor and privilege for me to share their stories through my lens and assist with showcasing the incredible work of the organization responsible for their lifelong care.
I have also had the great honor of photographing the residents of another truly amazing rescue/sanctuary: the mustangs of Paradise Waits Mustang Sanctuary (PWMS), WA. Wolves and mustangs face many of the same/similar challenges, both in the wild and in non-wild situations. It is my hope that my work will help to elevate the perception of these animals as unique individuals, and to shed light on the realities these charismatic species face, while inspiring viewers to educate themselves and ultimately act on their behalf.
